Good mood colour: LOVELY LEMON

INSPIRED BY NATURE

YELLOW - A COLOUR FULL OF SUNSHINE

The color yellow is naturally associated with warmth, optimism and joy. The yellow sun in a blue sky, hot sand on the beach, bright sunflowers and rudbeckias in the garden, fields of ripe grains - these are the images, that undoubtedly evoke positive emotions. Recalling pleasant memories, the color yellow carries a large dose of good, sunny energy. Interestingly, research shows that eating yellow food products also increases the production of endorphins, i.e. happiness hormones. Yellow fruits, vegetables and spices are not only visually pleasing, but are also a source of valuable nutrients. An example is turmeric, which adds a beautiful, vivid color to dishes, but also has anti-oxidant- and anti-inflammatory properties and improves digestion.

In color therapy, the effect of yellow is considered to be cheering and stimulating. Yellow light is used as a remedy for disorders related to chronic stress, depression and lack of energy. Yellow removes fatigue, stimulates action and fills with optimism. It helps with weakness and apathy. Moreover, research shows that yellow can also have a positive effect on our mind. It has been noticed that exposure to the color yellow stimulates the left hemisphere of the brain, which is responsible for logical thinking. Therefore, introducing yellow design elements into the interior can stimulate creativity, facilitate learning, strengthen memory and increase productivity. It is the color of intellect and science.
