This is when we can make great use of the well-known citrus fruits. They are still available at this time of the year, so we can easily prepare nutritious citrus infusions. These simple drinks are great for warming up, they lift your mood thanks to aromatic essential oils and additionally protect against colds. You can choose the ingredients of the infusions, depending on your preferences and what you have at hand. All you need is just a few fruits and a bit of spices. Preparation is simple and pleasant - it allows you to enjoy the intense colours and aromas of the ingredients. We assure you that the good mood will appear in the blink of an eye!

A STRENGHTENING INFUSION FOR EARLY SPRING

To prepare a strengthening infusion for early spring, reach for the citrus fruits available in your kitchen: lemons, limes, oranges, tangerines or pomelos. Peel some of them and divide them into pieces using your favourite CUCA scrapers and knives. If you decide to leave some fruits with the peel, wash them thoroughly and cut them into slices. Search your kitchen cabinets for warming spices such as ginger, cloves, cinnamon, anise. Slices of fresh ginger and sprigs of rosemary will also fit perfectly. The latter will surprise you with its beautiful scent and unusual aroma - although it is a non-obvious addition to a sweet drink, it is really worth trying it! Put the ingredients into your favourite cup and knead with a spoon to release the juice from the fruits. Pour warm water over the ingredients and add honey or maple syrup to taste. Drink slowly, savouring each sip. Try to find a moment to look out the window, watching for the first signs of spring.
